How is exact age calculated?+
The calculator counts whole years from your birth date, then the remaining whole months, then the leftover days, accounting for the different lengths of each month and for leap years. The result is your true calendar age — for example, "34 years, 2 months, 11 days".
Can I calculate age at a future or past date?+
Yes. Leave the "age at" field blank to use today, or set it to any date to find how old someone was — or will be — on that date. The target date must be on or after the date of birth.
How are total days and weeks counted?+
Total days is the exact number of days between the two dates, including leap days. Total weeks is that figure divided by seven, rounded down. These are handy for milestones like a 10,000-day birthday.
